Awarded Prizes
New students at the Colorado School of Mines
were given an official and friendly welcome Aug. 28 by the Golden Chamber of Commerce in a
special assembly at Bunker Auditorium.

Merchants gave 43 prizes that were awarded to Mines students in various fun categories.
Chuck Morris of Mines Public Relations department arranged for the show.
Morris expressed appreciation to all Golden merchants and to Chamber representatives
present for making the welcome possible.
